About Our Founder
Lynn Rae Lowe, an award-winning international artist and educator, lives her life between the right and left brain with zeal. Her journey has spanned dance, theater, music, visual arts, and education—performing on stage, singing in Carnegie Hall, directing large-scale artistic productions, and exhibiting award-winning work internationally.
In every endeavor, Lynn Rae’s creative genius opens doorways to community inspiration and compassion. Her work continues to inspire others to live more creatively, more fully, and more connected to themselves and the world around them. As an educator and mentor, Lynn Rae has dedicated decades to helping others discover their own creative voice. Her work with students, patients, and communities has shown that art is not reserved for a select few—it is available to everyone.
At the heart of her work is a belief that creativity is a universal force—one that connects people, heals communities, and allows individuals to express their deepest truths. This belief led her, alongside her late husband Buck, to found the Rose Petal Foundation—an organization rooted in imagination, compassion, and community impact.
Lynn Rae enjoys working with non-profit patrons to create inspirational, uplifting art, recognizing others’ contributions through public and private commissions, awards programs, and donor walls. Compassionate, funny, and above all, deeply spiritual–Lynn Rae and her now deceased husband Buck founded the Rose Petal Foundation, their family foundation designed to foster creativity and community imagination. The foundation launched two new programs in 2018, ArtSparks and the Jewish Community Theater of Tucson.
Lowe’s family is central to her work, community service, and future. Recently, she, along with her son Damion and her grandson Sam, was invited to create a three-generational art exhibit as part of “United in Art” at the Mexican Consulate in Tucson. She says, “this exhibit is one of the best community recognitions and familial opportunities I have ever been given … one of the greatest naches (feeling of pride and joy) of my life.”
